Indrajith, which is director Haridas’ next venture, is a Kalabhavan Mani-starrer and tells the story of Bhasi, who is the son of a notorious goonda named Bhaskaran. Bhaskaran had always wanted his son to grow up to be a more notorious goonda than himself. There is of course a very fair reason for this thought of Bhaskaran. He wants his son to be strong enough to protect his family from enemies.
So Bhasi grows up to be a goonda, but like all filmy goondas, is a kind-hearted and good goonda, with principles of his own. In true Robin Hood fashion, he spends much of his money for doing good to the people around him. Bhasi has a gang of his friends and well-wishers around him who include Vinayan, Jamal, Hakkim and Rajeendran. Bhasi has his admirers too, chief among them two young girls who vie to win his love. They are Vanaja and Sunanda.
Bhasi’s love story takes a new turn with the entry of another girl Lakshmi into his life. His life in general too takes a twist with the entry of a guy called Zaheer Mustafa. Kalabhavan Mani becomes Bhasi while Rajan.P.Dev is Bhaskaran. And the film is all set to reach the theatres this month.
