News is doing the rounds that hit-making director K.Madhu and popular actor Dileep are all set to team up for the first time in the near future. While it is reported that K.Madhu, who specializes in making action flicks, is planning some movies in other genres as well.

It is also heard that he is planning a movie with Dileep in the lead role and that the film has been tentatively titled Chandanakallan (meaning ‘The Sandalwood smuggler’). To be scripted by Sibi.K.Thomas and Udayakrishna, the film is reportedly being planned for the next year, i.e., 2008.

It is to be remembered that Joshi, who too had been making films on the big canvas with superstars mainly, had teamed up with Dileep and the Sibi.K.Thomas for the first time in Runway and it was a welcome change for the director as well as the actor.

Let’s wait and see how it works out in the case of the K.Madhu-Dileep-Udayakrishna-Sibi.K.Thomas combo.
